First I'm going to wax political, because I believe in our political process.

This is the original MCB 133 Veteran's Association web site started in 1997. I've now "aliased" it to mcb133.com which means you should be able to type mcb133 in your browser and get to this page. You won't find anyone else's web site content copied here. I built this web site from scratch in 1997 and spent hours scanning the Vietnam cruise books from 1967 and 1968 for these pages. This web site was instrumental in getting some of those veteran's together and forming the MCB 133 Veteran's Association, which is a real entity. I was not able to keep it up for a while, due to life got busy with building a new home, new grandbabies and coronary artery by-pass surgery. And don't anyone ever tell me the VA Hospitals aren't great! My by-pass was flawless at the Dallas VA! I know two vets who had a by-pass at local hospitals about the same time. One of them has been opened up twice more, the other has had some serious problems, too.
And by the way, in case you've forgotten, I am the 'Smitty' that did most of the cartoon drawings for the Bravo Company section of the 1967 cruise book. You'll see some of them in the 1967 cruise book section of this web site.
We welcome all Seabees or Veteran's from any branch or time to visit. We planned this site to be a place to keep in touch with old friends. The main purpose of our endeavor is reuniting the Veterans of MCB 133. This site will grow with time and contributions from other veterans of MCB 133. We promise to return any material sent to us for use on this web site. We want your photos and stories about MCB 133. We will accept links to other Seabee and veteran's web sites and photos and stories from any era in the history of MCB 133.
As with most things Seabees have anything to do with, this site is always under construction so check back often.
Can you believe it's been 40 years August 12, 2006?
