Proudly served from 1989-1994. It's great to see some of the old names. Brings back great memories of some of the best times of my life. Looking for Bill McCarthy, Brad Miller, Al Haraburda, and the blue eyed toady frog from that Diego deployment. Miss all of you guys, hit me up!

My apologies. Someone spammed this list and I apparently got overzealous and deleted some legitimate messages. But, if someone doesn't take over this web site pretty soon, I am going to shut it down anyway. I am old, tired and retired and don't want to have to work on it anymore.

Left GA. and headed for Gulport, eventually to Engineering Co. Gia Le, soil tests, paving road and down at the quarry when the rocket attack went on for ever. Phu Bai . My exwife through out my Cruise Book and photos. Been trying to get another book. Had a wreck on the way home to Gulfport. They were killed and I died once. Spent 8 months in Charleston Navy Hospital. Have a Seabee plaque signed by a bunch of my guys. Would love to be in touch

I was with MCB 133 in Phu Bai (Camp Campbell) 1968. I was attached to security and was on a listening post. There were two Listening Posts with 4 guys in each. I have many fond memories and some that are not so fond. I loved Gulfport and the southern belles. I use to go Red Doggin at the Red Dog Saloon and listen to Cash Cotton and his Bowl Weevils.....What a treat that was....great country music.........I remember going to Phu Loc (south of Phu Bai) one day and after paying $ 15.00 a fifth of Old Crow, the only bourbon they had was crown royal.. we bought all they had when we found out that crown royal was being sold for $ 7.00 a fifth. Boy did we get Drunk.. Anyone out there with Prostate Cancer? Let me know if you are. There are several other forms of cancer that was a result of Agent Orange. Don't think Agent Orange wasn't around Camp Campbell cause it was. I would like to hear from Doug Hyser, brown and others that was on the LP at Phu Bai. Remember the fire fight we had one night? We almost didn't make it because of Friendly fire. We had 12 Bunkers and No C4 in the claymore minds. The C 4 sure made our beans and weines taste good (sea rations) The skivie houses were awesome at the time but I don't think I could stand in line 20-30 GI's again to get laid. We use to comshaw plywood and give it to the corpman so we could get pennicillin shots.

Now it is all about your next visit to the VA Hospital. I go to Palo Alto, Ca and they take very good care of me.

Later
