Charlie Company 2003-2005. I'm the guy that throttled everyone on the PRT runs, until that fast Haitian guy checked in. Also, worked Okinawa CTR 2004. Alot of guys I know in the Canadian Forces up here are now deploying to Afghanistan.lol. And I thought I was leaving it all behind.

Steve,

I will not be available during that time. I was so looking forward to seeing some of the original 67/68 team. I wish to keep in touch. If anyone is visiting the Denver, Colorado area, have them call me on my mobile. I would love to visit with any of the guys. God bless and have fun.

Sincerely,

My Fater was one of the brave men from the Battle of IWO Jima, Was in the 133rd Battalion, company"c". His name was Forrest Stanley Hawthorne, His dob was Nov. 12th 1908. I have my
mothers Sc***book with Pictues and of course his
letter's discribing life in his "Swell Fox-Hole.
He was in the first wave of landing craft to hit the beach. He once told me that the landing crafts were not able to get to close to the beach and most had to wade in water above waist high.

My brother and I would like to Visit the Island, and walk the actual soil that he fought so hard to take that febuary in 1945.

I would like to hear from anyone, that has a simular tale to tell.

Thanks,

John (tentoes@socal.rr.com
