I served from 1-6-71 to 2-5-75. I booted at San Diego, A schooled at Hueneme, Mil Train there too then the whole damn class got shipped to the Nam. After that I joined MCB-133 in 72 just in time to get Det Chagos to the rock. After that, and homeport it was off to Oki. Then during my last homeport I transferred to Regiment and joined the Shore Patrol til EOAS. Was with a great crew, Lyle "Mac" McCray, Dave "Seababy" Shaffer, Jim Reasons, Gail Little, "Little Bob" Hall, Willie Heinnicker, "Hogg" Waller and many more. I always remember those days fondly now tho we hated it then. Write if ya want guys.

I am looking for Robert G. Hamilton CMAJ, a relative that served in the MCB-9 "A" Company around 1966. I don't have any information on him other than a letter from San Francisco, CA in 1966 with his return address. Any information you have on the Company/Unit or Robert, I would much appreciate.

I served with MCB-133 Jul 1966 - Dec 1967. I believe I was the 3rd officer to check-in to the CBC holding unit for 133. Lt Dave Calkin and a CWO I believe got there before me. I made the full first deployment at Camp Carrol (I believe). As mini pork chop (slange for Supply Officer) I short toured so that the supply officer rotation would change each year; i. e., either the big chop or the little chop would rotate out each year. Thus, the battalion was best supported with great supply officers. You'al probably remember DKC Cruz, SK1 Moore, SKCS Johnson, Capt (then CDR Hink Hinkle and Lt(jg) Buzz Needham who replace me. I am currently a healthcare administrator and will retire in November. I look forward to attending a future reunion. May God Forever Bless all SeeBees and we who served our Country and battalion together. Bruce
